I'm blinded by nostalgia when I think about older games I played growing up. I'll be listening to some music from a particular game, and then I decide to go back and play it and its usually not the same.
As for the standard being raised, when I tried to play Oblivion after playing Fallout 3 and Mass Effect, I just couldn't get over the lack of different voice actors. I just couldn't get into the game the same way I did the first time I played it.
Ive had one for about 6 months and I love it. Its good for reading novels, but for anything textbookish paper is better. Too hard to navigate and see pictures on the kindle.
Can't wait for Bioshock Infinite. Not a big fan of the move/kinect type stuff, and I'm not surprised to hear him express his hesitation on developing for it.
I'm playing through it right now, a little into act 3. I like it, but I'm using a guide to get all the collectables... So it gets a little tedious. Also playing on hard which isnt too terribly hard but still makes it a little more tense.
I agree with you about the good story, but oddly enough I haven't noticed the crappy lip synching. Maybe because I'm always looking back to the computer to check where the next mug is lol.
Off the top of my head, I actually like SquareEnix's logo. And microsofts logo for the xbox360, but after gleefully unlocking all those achievements, how could I not?
I play terran a lot and I use nukes all the time. Especially in 2v2. I'm only silver league in 1v1, but I've never had someone use a nuke on me once, except for friends. In a few hundred games. It's alot of fun, and its definitely pretty effective once you learn how to micro the ghosts. I like to get 2 ghosts, 2 nukes, and used it to obliterate a big gateway or barracks wall, then rush into the base with the rest of my force. Sometimes does blow up in my face though heh.
I liked the setting of AC1 and the history behind it more than that of AC2, even though AC2 is better. Still haven't played brotherhood, but I have it. Plan to quite soon.
