Finally decided to pull the trigger on doing one of these and will be streaming, at the very least, 120 shines in Super Mario Sunshine so I can finally show everyone that it's a good video game. Afterwards, I will do a bit of a variety stream involving maybe a few members of the Unofficial Giant Bomb Discord. I am intending to do the FULL 24 hour stream, though I may crash close to the end simply because I have not done that in a long while. Going to try and start my stream about 8AM CST.

EDIT: Due to the nature of how long 120 shines in Mario Sunshine actually takes (33 hours on average), I am instead going to do a 50 shine run as fast as I can without knowing any of the tech that goes into a 50 shine run in Mario Sunshine, followed by me trying to do as many games as I like as fast as I can. Which is to say not very fast. Might take a couple of Clone Hero breaks in there just to relax and destroy my fingers.

I played through a good chunk of Lords of the Fallen and GOD that game sucks. So going into The Surge, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. Especially all the cool little things you can do like having weird kill conditions on bosses to get enhanced versions of their weapons and stuff like that. It just adds more to the replay value of it.

Demo Derby. Something about the old form factor of those disks makes me feel cozy

@waterlogged: Would there be debate on 'My Thoughts on Neogaf Dying' being applicable? Technically video game adjacent and not in the lyrics, but it's video games and hip hop. Maybe as a footnote?

Been playing The Messenger on my Switch at work. It's extremely tight and moving around feels like a joy ride, especially after you start getting upgrades. The bosses are also pretty fun (sans one so far) with easily memorized patterns that allow you to find holes outside of the intended ones. All this and I just got past what I believe to be the first part of the game. This is without talking about the big changeup that happens after The Timekeeper, which probably would have had a greater effect had I not seen it already :v

Something about the combat makes it feel a lot more like a war compared to the last one I played (BF4). Maybe it's the smaller magazine sizes or the more emphasis on the infantry, but it feels a lot more tense but not stressful like BF4 did to me.

I'm one of the people who absolutely LOVES Wildstar and wish it had thrived. Despite some of the attitude in the ads leading up to the launch, the community was extremely kind and welcoming of new people so long as you told them as such. The gameplay was also fun as hell, even if attunement was sorta silly (they toned it down after F2P launched to a few steps as opposed to 11). It seems weird that games can just disappear now, especially since I doubt NCSoft will ever release the code to run servers for it.
