Yeah man, and that's from playing only two hours of main story. The rocket and spaceship sections were great, and so is jumping around the city collecting orbs, but every mission is just kill 50 cops, hack these terminals, eliminate this horde of aliens, kill this tedious miniboss, collect these 4 things etc. So tedious, and the humor is hilariously mistimed, but I'm sure there's enough good stuff left to keep going.

You have to forgive DICE, after all the game is only an incremental upgrade from the predecessor and they only had two years to develop it.. what?

What the fuck? How can people spend money during a closed alpha?

Anyway, this is what EA does best: getting a terrible idea for an old IP, then changing its mind way too late, fucking everybody over in the process.

If you want great stuff for your dnd campaign, Generation Kill should do the trick. Stuff like sarcastic, swearing Marines, the ambiguity of some superiors, the inability to actually help the local civilians, the imprecision of war in general and the irony that these highly trained Recon Marines are put into humvees on a blitz invasion to do anything but reconnaissance should translate into a pretty kickass dnd campaign.

Whatever you do, don't send your kids to Edward Tilghman Middle. Ha ! Ha !

Thanks man. Anyway, to make matter worse, they chose to do it the morning after Europe changes to wintertime so that's one double clusterfuck, as they say.

And how do you know what time it is? All I can find is the European PS+ ps blog announcement which is of course the same time as the US key beta but it still pisses me off that it doesn't say the time anywhere, you know? I've been to the official Dark Souls beta page and their facebook page, and nothing. Of course, I've launched the beta itself, which doesn't announce the time either. How terrible is that? But it is nice to see a real beta that doesn't feel like a demo, which is rare these days.

Ha ! Ha ! Probably some mod did it, but that is funny man. I saw this before and they just deleted it but this is so much better.
