Best of 2009
Giant Bomb's call for users to vote for their game of the year through a list, was to good to pass up. I put a lot of thought into this list and it completely reflects the top 10 games of 2009 for me personally. The other games I enjoyed this year were:
Battlefield:1943, F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin, Red Faction: Guerrilla, Wolfenstein, Katamari Forever, Torchlight, Infamous, Assassin's Creed II, Need For Speed: Shift, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Dirt 2, Braid, Trine, Flower, Little Kings Story, Street Fighter IV, and Shadow Complex.
Lastly I did not want to include the absolutely awesome Forza 3, because I worked on it. Nor could I vote for Batman: Arkham Asylum because I never got around to playing it.
In 2010 I turned this list up to 11 when reflecting on Silent Hill: Shattered Memories.
