That would be a strange strategy but wouldn't bother me in the slightest. I'm more than happy to continue paying for PS+ for the next generation given the insane value I've got from it so far.
For a brief period from 2 years to about 3/4 in the cycle it's possible if history is any judge. Though the architectures are so similar this time that maybe consoles won't even get that. Really it all depends on the development of PC hardware. The fact that ATI has such a monopoly on the hardware in consoles this generation it could be that Nvidia pushes real hard for PC, who knows...
@selfconfessedcynic: I've still got an original sixaxis that holds a good charge but I'm sure there are people who play enough games to have had the controller die.
That said didn't Sony have some sort of mail in battery replacement service available if you weren't confident enough to open up the controller and replace it yourself?
I tried to keep it to 10 but these sorts of lists are too damn hard! Looking back there were a ton of amazing games this generation, There's a whole bunch more downloadable titles I would have liked to have included but this list is too long already.
@chaostony: If you want something they can't check into just put consultant or freelance writer or any other job which involves working independently from a formal company. My pick would be PR consultant, people won't look twice at that.
lol ok. You're pretty funny kid. Actually about half of my friends do play games but we have no need to show each other a "sweet headshot" we got in COD. What's sad is you think showing your "sweet headshot" to your friends is fun an interesting, lol. Those features on PS4 are for children with nothing better to do that sit in their moms house and stream themselves playing a game lol. That's a sad life.
This is getting petty so this is where I bow out. For the record though I don't play multiplayer shooters and rarely even play competitive multiplayer of any sort, I'd like to but I don't have the time for it. The fact that you think streaming and sharing game footage is for socially stunted basement dwellers is short sighted and hypocritical. What do you think this very website is based around? lol ok....
The "Alt-Tab" function is not just for your tv it also does the instant sleep/wake that the PS4 showed. Did you even watch their demo? It instantly booted up his game in the last place he was. I included the live game broadcast in my upload video response, that's something that to me again is useless. I'm an adult and have no need to upload my game plays anywhere to show them to anyone.
Sounds to me like you're an "adult" with no friends or at least not a single one that shares this interest with you which is equally sad. Also yes I watched all of the coverage on offer yesterday and they haven't confirmed that the Xone can suspend the game state and instantly resume, just that it can instantly switch to other content while the console is still on, nothing was specified about when you turn it off.
