Every so often this website does something I find really gross. The comments made regarding The Last Night and reading why they didn't cover A Hat In Time is one of those times.
Yes, fuck JonTron, but to avoid covering a game because he voiced a few lines is far more egregious than having some nasty opinions.
The Last Night dev spoke on large societal problems, and your disagreeing with him does not make him "disgusting."
This site has huge problems with doing moral grandstanding to make sure they appease the right crowd but then associating with some of the worst characters and troublemakers in that crowd.
Brad's right about Horizon. How is that not on here? It's one of the most disappointing games of all time, tbh. Furthermore, how can these three be disappointing when expectations for them were so low to begin with? Having any hope for Andromeda and Need For Speed when most of their series have been bad and Battlefront after the first one was so middling seems a bit daft.
I get where Brad's coming from with the "ehhh" response to the gameplay, but that's because it doesn't really start introducing all its systems very early. That's definitely a very valid criticism that it takes a little too long to warm up (think I was 30 hours in when I had every aspect of combat open to me) but it's not really representative of the game, to be fair.
Not a complaint, Brad can't be expected to get 30 hours in for every game he plans on doing a quick look, just a note to anyone watching.
Maaaaan, I really hate when they use controllers for showing off first person shooters. The camera's so horribly jittery and unnatural. Makes me feel kinda nauseous, to be honest. Surely I'm not the only one?
Is this the end then? Bummer if so, this has been the best feature on the site and got me back into watching the site's content after a few months away. :(
