One of my favourite casts of characters in a JRPG, and the story is great too. Combat starts slow, but gains some really interesting elements before becoming slightly rote, so it's a mixed bag. Nice to have another huge world to explore after Breath of the Wild. I'll be dipping back in here and there and for the DLC.
Poppi best robot girl, she's so cute.

Switch port. This game is still incredible and an absolute must-play. Bayonetta might be my favourite character ever, she's so cool.

Switch port. While it lacks the humour of the original, the combat and general gameplay is improved. Features a far more touching and coherent narrative, but it comes at the expense of the charm of the characters in the original.

Platforming perfection. Will be difficult for another new 2018 release to beat this.

Beaten. Great game, I love the sense of progression you get from unlocking new abilities to mow down enemies that were previously troublesome. Only negative I have is that I hate the OG 3DS now, it cramps my hands up real bad. Might 100% since I have a lot of downtime at work.

Switch version. Cool Metroidvania, but none of the gameplay elements act as a hugely compelling hook. The soundtrack is amazing.
