Doubtful. New-Lara can't get through an entire day without brutally murdering a couple of small villages worth of people.

Nah. I've had much better luck with the burst fire pistol. The rifles tend to beat it at long range too.

Edit - I'm gonna backtrack on this. The gun is ridiculous. When the whole of the other team is using it on the smaller maps, it's really frustrating constantly losing out to this gun even when you get the first hit on them. Sometimes players will just turn and seemingly one-shot you. I haven't had the same success with the gun at all though, and I'm pretty good at it.

I'm definitely thinking about getting this, I like Bloodborne a bunch. I've heard the DLC is really hard, but can anyone that's played a bunch of it tell me if a lot of it is with the constantly respawning bell maidens, or the place with poison everywhere. I'm really not into doing anything like that again.

I'm at ep 8 and I'm having a hard time enjoying it. There's too many characters that serve very little purpose, and I kinda hate most of them. It has had its moments, like the police station, but I can't help feeling huge chunks of it serve very little purpose. Any time she storms into the lawyers office and is all like "You owe me" I want to scream at my tv. I hope that divorce subplot goes somewhere, because it's boring as shit.

I think the jump pack is a real game changer, I like that the cards limit what you carry. I do think the standard jump height should be higher. There feels like a few too many ledges that are a fraction too high to reach. The spawns are bad at times. I have on occasion spawned on an enemy or behind the other teams spawn resulting in killing 5 or 6 people with a single grenade.

I used to like reading the manual on the bus home after buying games in shops, but I only buy online now. A ton of Japanese games I've imported still have fancy, colour artwork in them which is nice. Fighting games even come with move lists and stuff too.

Yeah, I do kinda miss them. The first one I remember loving the hell out of was Super Mario Bros 3. I loved how it had all of these images of Mario doing all of his moves in the booklet.

It's very, very good. Definitely one of the best games of the year. I think there's some really neat puzzles in there, both in the optional tombs and on the main path. I'm not 100% sold on Re-re-reboot-Lara, but she's much better in this game. I was kinda put off by some of the ways Lara killed people in the first game, but I think I've made my peace with her being a murder machine. I feel like there's a ton of extended sequences with you efficiently clearing out rooms like some kind of spec ops assassin. The amount of murder-tools you get in the game is insane, but getting three kills with the bow in one shot is always really satisfying.

My only real problem is that the mystical elements in the end portion of the game feel almost identical to the last game, complete with climbing up a huge snowy structure. I wouldn't mind if they went a little more mystical in the next game. Throw us a T-Rex or a couple of centaurs mid-game or something.

Setpieces are very good, the visuals are stunning from start to end, and the slightly more open world with side missions is great. It's nice to see that Lara is almost the Lara from past games, but I wouldn't mind a little humour here and there.

edit - Oh I just realised this was a 360 thing... oh well.

Wolfenstein had the same problem, The discs only installed about 75% of the game. It seems to be a Bethesda thing. I haven't had this problem with any of the other PC games I've bought on disc in the last couple of years.
