I loved Retronauts, but they're not doing that one anymore.

I think the PSP is pretty shitty. The battery sucks and I think it's really uncomfortable to hold while playing. I never really got into it. 
 
I'd buy a Game Gear if I were you.

I can see why you would enjoy doing that, and I don't really understand the people criticizing you for doing it.
 
That being said, it would also bore me to death to watch that. Anyway, have fun.

I don't think you need to ask any questions. Your preorder was a wonderful decision. Also, the blue 3DS is really only a choice if you can afford pricy jokes. 

In all seriousness, though, I would have preordered one as well if I had the money to spare. In my opinion the DS (and the 3DS probably as well) is the definitive handheld. I bought a PSP as well at some point, but with the next generation of handhelds I don't really know if I'll fall for the "NGP" as well. The PSP was such a disappointment that I'll definitely wait some time before I pay any money for that.
