Games of 2017

Games on this list primarily contributed to lessening my time to do anything productive, so good on ya??

List items

  • I played so much Horizon and I STILL haven't finished it. I love the game though, the world, the characters... Amazing...

  • At more than 60 hours I'm still not quite done with Persona 5. But the story and characters have me committed for the long term.

  • This game might not have come out this year, but it has to be one of the top ten games that I spent all my time in this year. Easily...

  • Injustice 2 might not be for everyone. But I found myself returning to it time and time again this year.

  • While half the hardcore gaming community was playing PUBG this year, I was playing Overwatch. Not sorry...

  • According to my XBOX LIVE profile this is my #1 game played on XBOX this year. I'm sure it will be my #1 game on PC next year. At least until Horizon 4 comes out...

  • I understand the loot box hate that has gotten pinned on this game. But it is very easy to just not interface with it and play the game. And that's what I've done for more than 40 hours this year.

  • This game is so incredibly immersive with incredibly presentation from start to finish. Love the story, I'll be playing through this again on PC soon. Watching the developer diaries for this game made you feel a part of it's development. Certainly one of the most unique experiences I've EVER had with a game.

  • It might not be a traditional Assassin's Creed. But that isn't necessarily a bad thing. Just 20 hours in and still having a great time. Love Bayek...

  • After not getting a Switch until very recently the first game I bought for it was Splatoon 2. I can't believe how much time I've put into this game and even with all the other titles releasing this year. I still go back and play more. A very chill shooter....
