@spaceinsomniac: I remember watching Burn Notice in Bulgaria (where I used to live) with my sis. I feel like it was pretty self aware and I enjoyed it for the most part. The main character reminds me of the lead character from Memento. Will check Firefly too! Thanks anyway! :)

@gonmog: Wow, hold on there. I just watched it - that was certainly an experience, but I'm unfortunately not liking it. But I think that's ok, you can't like everything. But I certainly see the appeal - time travel equals infinite possibilities. It's cool, but too energetic and I felt like I was supposed to know way more about the series, to appreciate for what they are going. At least now I know. :) BTW - that episode is way too short for the many stories it's trying to tell.

To you and all others: not related to DW, but I recently saw how there are made tens of series each year that debut their pilot episodes on various TV channels. Some of them succeed for another season or two, others just out right flop. Most of them seem like a mere distraction to me, they don't have that feeling of Lost and Breaking Bad. Just noting.

@penguindust: I did start watching The X-Files, but I can't bring myself into it. Also - fuck MOTW. :D I despise series that are like that, including Fringe, where the story that matters picks pace so slow that I don't think it's worth sticking through. Sure, it's about the adventure, but I don't want too much filler in my cup of tea.

@bones8677: I watched some of Game of Thrones, you know until that Red Wedding episode, then I pussied out/raged quit. I also despise the unnecessary amount of nudity the series has. Sure, the books had some pretty detailed paragraphs too (at least that's what I heard), but I kind a don't like random boob or ass to pop up from nowhere. But I have to admit - the subtle background buffer of mysteriousness is very well done! :)

@goonage: I kind a don't like animes, but back in the day I watched Death Note, which I like very much. Thanks for the suggestions! :)

@cornbredx: The Sopranos has a deep lore? I'm not asking that as a joke. I just didn't know/expected it.

@out_on_bail: I watched the few first seasons and it's not that good. It's like Dexter, where every season there is a new villain that gets defeated at the end of the season. And it's so slow. :(

@animasta: Will check it out, thanks! :)

@fisk0: @monkeyking1969: I'm not really a fan of sci-fi per say. And I've heard that some episodes of Star Trek were just in one room, discussion only, which I would love to see, but these series are so old and so big, that I'm not sure if I can get in... :| Thanks anyway! :)

@peezmachine: I've heard so much about Doctor Who. If I wanted to start watching it, where do I start from? Sell me on the series, without giving out much (anything)! :D

I watched the first few episodes of Letfovers, how does that go later on the series? I heard it gets better and the premise is actually rad.

Thank you all for the quick responds! :)

I really haven't watched TV for years. I just recently finished watching Lost with my sis for the 3rd time (it was her first time). And sure, the series has a lot of problems, but I was wondering if there are any other TV series with deep lore and mythology, like Lost. Ok, maybe Lost isn't the best at utilizing its background buffer, but I want to get invested into other TV series.

Any suggestions?

I also just finished the first season of Utopia, which is like the most bizarre thing I've seen. That thing is freaky.

Thanks and keep truckin'!

EDIT: I've already watched these -

True Detective,
Lost,
V,
Dexter,
Breaking Bad.

@s80007: Oh yeah, I'm pretty sure the accents vary. Even in small countries like the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, soon to be changed and Bulgaria accents exist.

@zamolxes: I mean - Romanian, Mandarin and... oh yeah - English! :D I've been in Turkey, Istanbul, but haven't visited Romania at all - and it's always been so close to me.

And yes, languages can be contagious. These days a lot of people just use "OK" in Bulgaria, instead of "dobre".

@fattony12000: That's better. But I wouldn't say "ありがとうございました" is that much shorter than "'thank you very much for doing that thing for me!' (and speaking to you in a respectful manner/tone)." Ok, Ok, I give up - Japanese rocks and kicks ass! :D

@zomgfruitbunnies: Your case is very similar to what it is with Bulgarian and Macedonian. There is a great debate as to how much Macedonia has a culture of its own and what not. There are regular Interwebz debates as to who can prove better their little worthless agenda that nobody cares about. I haven't researched much into it, because I feel like most of Bulgaria's history has been written by historians with nationalistic agenda. Sometime languages and cultures become so nebulous that it's impossible to trace what is what.

@truthtellah: I feel ya'. Being an outsider and having diverse cultural origin can be disheartening when trying to get into another environment. A lot of people of colour who are new to America or powerful European countries find difficulties breaking that point of shame. Your case is lighter, but I know what you are talking about. Stay stronk! :D

@fattony12000: Yes, ありがとうございました for reading! :D
Btw, that is pretty long just for saying "thank you".

Благодаря - "Blagodarya" - Bulgarian "Thanks";Teşekkürler - "Teshekurler" Turkish "Thanks".

@mannymar: That's interesting as well. I think someone has learned a language when he/she can think in that language. Because when you start learning one, you just translate everything to the new one. After a while it becomes a second nature.

@veektarius: Indeed, Cyrillic was created because Bulgaria wanted to be cocky and they just got letters and what not from nearby cultures. I didn't write about the Greek alphabet, because I'm not familiar with it.

@zomgfruitbunnies: Sounds bad. And what you said about this new wave of hatred that seems to be uprising because of Internet - I agree. Internet has done so much good stuff, but it also has helped some stuff like that to happen, to the level of these' days gaming controversy.
