@chrjz: I don’t think the choice is that easy. Which 2080ti do you get? There’s going to be a big difference between a reference card and the premium cooled and overclocked 3rd party cards. There are also other considerations. Things like fan noise issues, coil whine, etc. that crop up in certain models.

@sanity: Hey I think a 2080Ti would be great for 2560x1440 144hz. Many of my games don’t go much above 60fps on my 980ti. I doubt all of them will hit 144 even with the 2080ti. As for FE cards, I’d be wary of them even though they’re overclocked. The 980ti FE for one didn’t even have a factory overclock and ended up throttled all the time because the cooling was terrible and the cards hit the 84C temperature limit all the time. Waiting for the premium cooled 3rd party cards is almost always the best course of action.

Bloodborne. I know I will absolutely hate the gameplay but the art design is so tempting.

@doctordonkey: But raising that lower number is important and even the upper end could use a boost at this point. I guarantee you if I threw a 1080ti in my PC the difference in frame rate would be significant. I can’t speak to a 2080 since they’re not out yet but I would have to imagine the difference would be even more significant.

@jtb123: Ray tracing and hopefully 4k60 or 1440p144. A recent example that’s been nagging me is that the new zones in WoW have been dipping as low as 60fps at 1440p and I don’t even have the graphics maxed. This is on a 980ti. Buttery smooth 144fps 1440p maxed graphics WoW sounds really good right now.

@darthtraitor: I am speaking from experience. Getting my thyroid under control helped a lot of things. Looking back it’s pretty obvious it was ruining my life in a lot of ways. I also wouldn’t be as fat as I am if it wasn’t for that. It’s pretty easy to maintain my weight without trying too hard now, it’s losing it that’s the hard part. I wish I had gotten it under control a long, long time ago.

@mustarddragon: The visuals were blurry because the graphics default to something like 70% render resolution. So it’s downscaling the visuals. Turn it up to 100 and it looks great. Why this is the default setting is completely beyond me. Frame rate however is really bad. They need a new engine for these games.

I really enjoyed it, I loved BLOPS3 so I like all the class stuff. I’m glad the maps are bigger than in Infinite Warfare, I hated how easy it was to get flanked all the time. My biggest gripe is that they got rid of jet packs and wall running. That stuff was all a ton of fun and it’s kind of lame to be grounded again. That all said a big reason I get into these games is because both me and a friend of mine enjoy them and it’s a good reason to hang out.

@inresurrection: It’s better than regular coke. I don’t like Coke at all but I really like Coke Zero.
