If it doesn't need to be a podcast about current games I would recommend "GFW Radio - The Brodeo"...

Probably not that obscure or young adult, but as I kid I was really into Edgar Wallace novels, especially "The Ringer" and "The Gaunt Stranger".

Warlock... as I had a lot of fun with this class during our last one shot adventure... The DM probably not so much, as we "ignored"/were to dumb to find all the hints for his prepared story flow, instead we run amok in some town and the group disbanded afterwards... aaaah, those precious memories.

Killer 7 (GameCube)

Eternal Darkness (GameCube)

Planescape Torment (PC)

Grim Fandango (PC)

...are the first ones which would come to my mind regarding the given time frame and systems.

Years ago I got rid of my collection of German gaming magazines which lead way back to the mid 80s (probably several hundred kilos in weight), moving them first from my flat into the cellar and later from the cellar to the waste-paper container was a nightmare. Still getting dorsal pain by just thinking of it...

So no regret (besides the occasional nostalgic melancholy feeling), as there are by now some good archivepages with scans of most of those.

The only magazine I am currently still collecting is "Scroll" by Ray Barnholt, but there are only 9 issues so far...
