I've had an Xbox for over 5 years and have an empty friends list. I saw the post and thought it was about something like that, oh well. Good luck, have batman!
While the OP is a little confused, this reminds me of similar issues from my youth: What computer system is used to develop a given console/arcade game. Mostly arguments over the use of the Amiga (Street Fighter 2) or SGI workstations. In hindsight, it was a silly question, and I'm glad it hasn't resurfaced.
Yes, but I only have a non-video game example: Wild Things. The first half is a terrible movie, it even has a "twist" that you see coming a mile away. I almost walked out, but then Bill Murray shows up and it gets a little better. The twist is revealed in the second to last scene, and the closing credits include short scenes that reveal what was REALLY going on throughout the story. It felt insane at the time, and I walked out feeling surprisingly refreshed and up beat, weird.
Story is a smaller part of video games, and most video games are much longer than a film the first time through, so I'm not sure the same would be possible in that medium. Maybe if the game was structure like Asura's Wrath; even after all the weirdness, that final boss fight (in the DLC) is SUPER WEIRD.
Friends are over rated. In any given time and place (school, work, family) there are people who are worth your time and poeple who aren't, you don't have to go out of your way for them.
I am not saying people aren't deserving of loyalty (which includes a willingness to compromise), I am married, and most of the GB crew left Jobs to work with Jeff, but that is beyond a purely social relationship.
Since the Rage guy woke up this thread, I will add: None, I don't have a single s-rank, and I am kind of proud of that. The 360 is the only console I have owned since the GameCube, and this site did inspire s-rank envy back in the day, so the only reason I've maintained my streak has been by stubbornly not caring about points; playing only games I like, and how I want to play them.
