Doesn't mean much on this side of the Atlantic, In Europe EULA's might as well be speculative fiction, works describing rules software companies wished their customers had to abide by. End of the day they can't alter european consumer law or personal legal entitlements.

After seeing what happened to Tested I think Jeff and co did the best they could in a horrible situation. Would I be happier if they gone small for a while? Maybe started a Kickstarter? Hell yes but then again I don't know what bills they have to pay.

As it stands I don't think giantbomb will exist as we know it inside of a year. Yeah lets keep hope and all that but lets face it we have seen this sort of thing happen far to many times

I propose a new rule of the Internet

Rule 48: Money will kill the things you love.

Jeff is a savvy guy, he's been on the Internet longer than I have, I have no idea how he things this is going to work. This NEVER working. The second something you love on there Internet is bought out by a large company it is eventually destroyed. This is a fact, he he watched it happen already with the cnet Gamespot thing!

Giantbomb will continue mostly unchanged for a time but its independence and personality will be destroyed one compromise at a time. Every time this happens the small busyness being sold seems think they are special, that they will be the one this works for. Unfortunately no one is special, when you sell your company/product/brand ect. to a large corporation they will destroy it, fact of life.

The fact that the overwhelmingly negative response in both chats was in no way acknowledged on the stream would seem to indicate they are already in some way gagged. I'm very sad today, I put my money into this site because I honestly cared about. it.

@TMThomsen: Yep it was showing four videos from giantbomb but that was all it was showing (apart from the vlog). The point is because of what I'm assuming is a youtube bug the amount of content giantbomb was uploading was causing none of my other subscriptions to update. Or if they where that information wasn't being fed to the front page or http://www.youtube.com/my_subscriptions

@benjaebe: Well it is nice to see GB content on there but youtube can't seem to handle the sheer volume of it!

While its really great that all of GBs video content is being posted on youtube it might have been worth doing it in stages! The massive influx of videos has rendered my youtube subscription pages completely unusable. There is nothing but pages and pages of giantbomb content to the point that no other videos seem to be getting through and on the youtube front page no subscription videos are showing at all apart from one solitary Vlog.

Anyone else seeing the same thing? I've unsubscribed for now and am waiting for the videos to disappear from my feed.

So this game wouldn't be recommended to loners like me who like to take their Deus Ex style action alone?

I'm considering it but I won't lay down my virtual cash until I see some reviews. I also had some inklings that the translation might not be up to snuff from steam trailers alone "The dualist pan-techno knowledge of the Puppet Master."
