Games that I liked (mostly) but will probably never finish/replay

A  few games of this gen that i liked (with the exception of the last two) that I'll never finish or probably won't ever play again :(

List items

  • Really had fun with this game at the onset. Picked it up off the strength of the Quick Look. Currently somewhere in chapter 5 which i know is near the end but i don't have much incentive to keep playing

  • Great game. Beat it once and then went on to immediately sell it. As great as it was, something about it just didn't resonate with me enough to want to make it a permanent addition to my collection. I think it had a lot to do with the pacing and the feeling that a lot of the chapters seemed to outstay their welcome.

  • Loved the original bioshock to death. Played it plenty of times. Instantly knew i was picking up bioshock 2 and as soon as i finished it i practically forgot all about it. If you asked me about anything significant pertaining to the story outside of being a big daddy, i couldn't tell you

  • I love the burnout series and what criterion has done. I put an unconscionable amount of hours into Takedown and Revenge. I think the thing that stops me from pressing forward in this game is the open world nature of it all. It's not a horrible addition but everytime i play i find myself having to pause and look at the big map to plot out my path and make sure im going the right way while im in the middle of the race. I find that too annoying and time consuming.

  • Beat the game once. Had fun with it but didn't find it gripping enough to want to play it again. Maybe one day...

  • What I've played of this game is awesome. I love the shit ton of side missions and objectives that you can do to keep you busy. Probably more than any other game. I got so caught up in the side activities that after a while i forgot about the main storyline to the point i never really cared to revisit it.

  • Bought the game off all the good word of mouth. I think part of my apprehension with finishing it is that it doesn't feel as scary as it should be or as it might lead you to be. And even with just using the plasma cutter, you feel rather powerful and unstoppable.

  • Bought this when i got my PS3. As much as i try to get into it. I just never could. Something about it just feels off. Made it about half way through the game. Probably will never get any further.

  • Same thing as KZ2. Something just felt off to me. Never even made it past the first level.
