@patrickklepek I did the same thing recording a couple months ago and had to toss all the footage from the 'once a year' convention. oh well there is always next year
That was great, alot of the time we make fun of dave because of his bombastic personality, but he always has unique insight I love hearing that makes you think. Thank you for posting this
It has been mentioned on the Bombcast before that everyone has their own 'Golden Age' of gaming and AC Zero was in it for me. I spent a entire summer playing this game into the ground getting S rank on every mission in the hardest difficulty and I still play a couple of missions once every 6 months or so.
Recently I have been playing AC Infinity and got the urge to go listen to the AC Zero soundtrack again and it got me thinking about how awesome this game was to me. Even though anyone could point out why it's bad but I don't think I could care.
You ever get that where you love a game unconditionally?
I do enjoy the infamous series and the trailer makes it look interesting story wise so I pre-ordered it. However playstation canceled my digital pre-order and blocked it. Is that because they haven't got their preloading working down here in Australia or is that how it works?
After reading all that I kinda really want to play it even more, I have never actually played an MMO for more then 10 minuites and after Skyrim the chance to spend more time with the lore and setting of the Elder Scrolls universe is appealing.
And by the sounds of it ( for the moment) it has plenty of subs. It just feels like not alot of people are talking about it though, but you could say the same thing about Titanfall.
*Really I should just hurry up and build my gaming rig but thats another conversartion*
I was talking to a friend when a terrible thought came up. With the console edition still missing a release date and ESO offering free 'pets' for people who keep their subscription going (possibly responding to the lack of subsriptions but I don't know how it's fairing so).
What are the odds that when Zenimax flips the switch to F2P it will coincide with the console release.
While I think it's unlikely, stranger and even more suspecious things have happened before and it wouldn't surprise me.
I went through a 2 year period of this, stuck in a mental state of " Why do I even bother" from one day to the next and came out of it slowly. Ironically part of getting out for me was getting back in to video games and subsequantly Giant Bomb to an extent.
I don't know what to say other then that I started with the little things, grabing something small that made me feel some what better. Then building on that, so I guess i'm saying, stop, take a deep breath in all aspects and find some time to your self each day.
I know this isn't probably helpful but it might be
