I was about to say Civ 5 since the turn-based play is perfect with watching TV. I'll second Torchlight and Castle Crashers if you haven't played it yet. It's a tad on the short-ish side but there's a reason to keep going back to it.

Mine got hacked about two months ago and region switched to Colombia so it's locked there for at least a year. They spent all the points I had on the account on Dead Space, Dead Space 2, and Assassin's Creed Brotherhood DLC and attempted to charge me in excess of $10,000 on my credit card.

The d-pad's "better" but it's an extremely minor improvement.

Give the Cowon models a whirl; you won't be dissapointed.
