ToS: DATNW: A Good RPG for a system that lacks them. 0

I was riding high on the wings of Tales of Vesperia back in the summer. An exception RPG on the 360.  I had heard about this game, but never seen it in my local stores, in fact did not even know it was out until February. So when I found it at my Best Buy I snagged it. $40 brand new for an RPG. I was a little nervous, this game had no hype, no advertising, and I was buying it at a discount price. Lets just say I was very surprised. I may have never given this game a chance if my 360 was not in T...

Just Ridiculous and Fun 0

50 Cent has made a reputation of being shot 9 times and surviving. Don't believe me, just ask him. But putting all those thoughts aside, he has made millions in marketing himself and his Vitamin Water. (In stores now)Vitamin Water: In Stores now!!!You Play as 50 cent, and you are pissed. After playing your concert in an Unknown Middle East Country... Probably the same one that Call of Duty 4 takes place, who knows. You realize you did not get paid. Oh those crazy concert promoters dont know who ...

PoP: MY review 0

One of my favorite game series has been the "Prince of Persia". I played the so called original on a SNES. I remember how good I felt when I finished that game, learning to control the Prince back then was difficult. Due to the animation style, you had to press the jump button almost an entire second before you jumped. To me, the controls became second nature after a slight learning curve. Shocking to find out that all these years later, I had to relearn the controls to a Prince of Persia game. ...

Mirrors Edge: The Review 0

There are a few times in my life where a game has come out and taken me by complete surprise. Games that seemed to break the mode and show me what games can be. Unique, and superb, possibly a little flawed, but games that just keep you coming back. Tomb Raider, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, Final Fantasy, and now I will add another game to that group. Mirrors Edge. I was against this game from the outset. you can hear me spew hatred for it on my podcast. I trounced it evertime anyone ment...

Silent Hill Homecoming review 1

Silent Hill Homecoming is the newest in the Silent Hill Franchise. It is also the first one to be released on Xbox 360 and the Playstation 3. You assume the role of Alex Shepard. A soldier returning to his hometown of Shepard's Glen. However as things are not all puppy dogs and rainbows in Shepard's Glen as you will come to learn. The game begins with you strapped to a gurney and dragged through what appears to be a dilapidated hospital. Where you eventually escape and end up in Shepard's ...

BIA: HH My Review 1

Remember when you first looked up games coming to your console. Every new console has those games that are “coming soon”. Sometimes these slip away from the expected release date, and sometimes they show up when you least expect it. Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway is one of those games. Announced early on, and missing its orginal release date by about a year. I can still remember seeing the footage of a soldier walking while looking up in a window of house. A frenzied lady pointing to a Ge...

Lego Batman: My Review 0

LEGO BATMAN: THE VIDEO GAME My Review Not too long ago the gods of plastic sent us LEGO Indiana Jones. And to me seem to be a huge improvement over the LEGO Star Wars Games. With its puzzles, and unique character abilities. Now they give us, LEGO BATMAN. If you played any previous LEGO game then you understand the concept. You and a partner, (Local co-op or AI only) plow through a city, destroying most everything in your path in a wave of colorful destruction. At time the screen stutters a...

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 0

Star Wars The Force Unleashed is an action game where you play as Darth Vader's Secret Apprentice. The Games story takes place between Episode 3 and 4, and is considered Cannon by Lucas himself. So what you are playing ties very heavily into the Star Wars mythos. The game opens with you actually playing the Dark Lord of the Sith himself. And this is pretty fun, you are as bad ass as you think you should be. Tearing through enemies is satisfying, and awesome. After that and until the end of ...

Tales of Vesperia: The Review 0

Tales of Vesperia is a new RPG in the Tales series by Namco/Bandai. This games is really my first foray into the Tales series. I briefly played Tales on PS1, and Tales of Symphonia on Gamecube. I played these games briefly because I did not like either one of them. But since I have been dying for an RPG I decided to give this one a go. I had played the demo first, and liked it, but it seemed very cheesy. So let me tell you that I was floored when playing the real game. The story starts out with Y...

Too Human Review 5

Too Human was a weird collage of game play controls, and gripes. First off, for the first day I could not decide if I liked it all that well. Then I did... then I got to the second area of the game, and dreadfully despised this game. However that also seem to pass as well. Too Human's fighting mechanics are different. Instead of slamming buttons. You are constantly wiggle the right stick in a direction. This mechanic has been used in previous games, and is not my favorite style of fighting. T...
