Games I left my job for:

Once in a while a game comes out that is just so awesome that there simply is no way around it. You have to best case, take time off or worst quit your job to play them. It has to be said that some of these games were not as good as I hoped for when the vacation time was up, but overall it was worth it. While playing one of the games in my list I paid my girlfriend a $100 to cook and clean for me.... try to guess which one:-)?
 
And I didn't have a job when Super Mario Bro's and the other classics were released so that's why they are not included.
