Never had an issue keeping everyone alive in the suicide mission. I played everyone to their strengths and I realized from the first Mass Effect that taking the middle road dialogue is not the way to go. You better be ballin hard renegade or paladin or why even bother. It's one of my biggest grips with their dialogue system, it doesn't go grey enough.
I'm digging the game (kinda) but I have to echo some of the comments here. I think that the heaps of praise for this game where other games would get bashed (controls, shitty camera, etc) is kind of amusing. It's a great game but I can't help to think how much better it would be if it were more polished. It took me a good two hours to get used to the framerate and the camera gets too goddamn close sometimes. It's a fantastic world though. It would be nice if someone created a game like this that didn't feel like you were playing with a broken controller.
Volition also said some bullshit about not being able to use planes in Saints Row because of the limitations of the hardware and then what happens? Holy Shit, Saint's Row 2 has planes, boats and helicopters. I wouldn't take their word for too much.
I was just listening to that podcast and wished that you guys would return on the show. It was a blast to listen to. This sucks. Although I didn't agree with everything they said on the show (who could?) they seemed like a bunch of cool guys. Best of luck to them.
I'm still there regularly. I don't have a problem with following their rules. At times it can be a bit annoying, but it's their house. Deal with it or leave. I get so tired of people acting like dicks in forums and then wondering why they get banned. Learn to deal with whatever restrictions are in place and quit bitching on other forums when you get bagged.
"It's funny how I see articles and whatnot about the avatars and how they are so innovative and whatnot, but Sony is the one that started it with Home, and it pisses me off a bit how they give one thing credit and the other none. >_> "
Avatars are nothing new. They have been in chatroom clients since the early internet days. On the consoles, The Miis were the first.... Home isn't innovative at all.Certain features of it may seem promising, but it's as original as a 10 dollar bill.
