Anyone else played Shadowrun Chronicle: Boston Lockdown?
If anyone curious, it's HBS Shadowrun except it was multiplayer. You can party up to four players or bots, which the host controls. Unforunately it kinda water down the mechanics and story, but I felt it had so much potential. I still put 200 hours into it.
Maybe? I spent a summer as kid at my aunt's house oversea and the only english vhs tape they had was Robocop and Robocop 3. To say at least I watched it so much I was memorizing lines from the movies. I always thought ED-209 was cool and it's the reason I got into Battletech and cyborgs in general. Robocop's drug cartel assault was in my opinion one of the best shoot out scenes as a kid above Predator's cartel assault. He was basically a walking tank. Also the music was so awesome in Robocop. I liked evened both the live action show and cartoon show, which I watched every morning at 6 am before school. I turned out alright? Right? I'm going to watch Robocop now.
Had a few sessions of Pathdiner the card game with 4 of my family members and we are having a blast! As a group that love RPGs and fantasy but struggle to feel comfortable with actual role-playing, this is hitting the spot.
Coolios. I played a lot of the Pathfinder app game and it's fun though missing co op. I would totally suggest playing Arkham Horror LCG. It's another great co-op rpg game that keep getting new expansions!
I beat the last mission with a lance of King Crabs. It was glorious. Instead of continuing or just waiting for sweet, sweet dlc, I downloaded a bunch of mods like weapon balance (because LL and PPC are kinda bad) or access to LosTech. Then I restarted the campaign again. Having a blast with mods. This game has a lot potential in my opinion. Just need more tweaking and some solid side missions to go with the contracts.
I had Dekker with a almost fully mastered skill line, then it happened. A simple battle mission. Do a little recon, Dekker. Gets sensor locked. Oh no. Then I see three little ol PPC shot slowly moving across the screen. Oh gawd it's happening. Blam. Nothing left but a lethal shot made and me yelling at the screen, "What are the chances!?"
@seikenfreak: Ha! I say fight fire with fire! I stripped a Shadowhawk of everything including armor. Shoved a lrm 20, 15 and 5 with 5 bundles of lrm ammo, 2 heat sinks and 2 jump jets. Put in a pilot with invested tactician points and also believe in a higher power hoping that no one will look their way. So far it has worked wonders for me. Worked for me in Mechwarrior and works for me in this game as well! LRM BOATS FOR LIFE!
So... I just had a jaw dropping moment in a 1.5 difficulty mission. Just a simple battle mission. No problem. Reinforcement? No problem. Then I checked the stats on the two vehicle reinforcements. One had 3 LRM 20 and the other had 10 SRM 6. I literally had to watch it shoot missiles at my Centurion for 10 sec straight. I swear this game just throw in clown cars of mass destruction if you're doing too well in battle.
