I've discovered something that has reinvigorated my need to play L4D.

"This mod replaces most of the infected sounds (including the "mob scream") with phrases from former professional wrestler Macho Man Randy Savage. Most everything except for pain, death, and female voices have been replaced. Female infected may still scream Randy Savage stuff, but that's just the way it goes."

So this mod proves that adding Randy Savage to anything, increases its awesomeness ten-fold. And in some ways having a mob of crazy people screaming "YEAH!" "OH YEAH! YEAH!" as they charge and subsequently beat you to death is much more terrifying than just having them just scream and gargle.

#26 for the limited edition brad.. excellent

I was pretty bummed from seeing that the enemies in the gameplay videos were just faster and nicer looking versions of the ganados from RE4. The animations looked identical and they even used flaming crossbows again.

The coop is a nice addition, though the left handed perspective of Sheva looks odd to me, and I hope I will be able to change it whenever I control her.

Even if the game results in being an HD version of RE4, which has been evident from what I've seen, I suppose that just means that I'll enjoy it just as much.

The two that I thought were slightly less awful were the first Resident Evil and Silent Hill (Come on, witch burnings? Seriously?)

Going to be an expensive holiday season...

System Shock 2 is an absolutely excellent game, even if a bit frustrating at times (not a fan of weapon degradation). My fondness of the game has also lead to some excitement for me over the upcoming title, Dead Space which will seem to share some similar aspects like mutants.... and space (though there will be no devilish AI involved).
