Denny's - Table For One is the most depressing thing I think I've ever heard.
From the outside looking in, managing Dan seemed like the ultimate game of Factorio.
Zuntata fucking owns
The Sega CD version of Terminator is a 2D side scrolling shoot em up where you play as Kyle Reese, and it's pretty good. The music is good as well. So they're not all bad.
This is exactly what I wanted from Shenmue 3. Best looking Dreamcast game I've ever seen.
Everybody's workstation gives me anxiety on a profound level.
The tech seems to work fine, not amazing but fine. However, the economic model is where the problem lies. I'm not dropping $60 a game only to lose access to those games when Google inevitably decides to put a bullet in this thing a year or two down the road. It needs to have some type of Gamepass style model where I get access to all the games for a monthly fee. Locking 4k and HDR behind a paywall on top of an already onerous pricing scheme seems pretty shitty as well.
Mongo pushing? What is this madness?
As someone who plays each Call of Duty as they come out, the "lol its the same game retread every year" comments have always irked me. I've always assumed they're made by people that don't even play the games. On a macro level, yes you're on a team fighting against the other team using a variety of pistols, rifles, machine guns, etc. You aim with the left trigger and shoot with the right. But there are many nuances that go into each game. The handling of the guns, character movement, game modes in MW feel very different to Black Ops 4. It's not like Activision just hits the Call of Duty button every year to poop out a new random game. They have 3 teams so each game takes 3 years to make.
@mellotronrules: I feel like that's a pretty cynical take. "Do you like Borderlands? Well here's more of that." (assuming that's what you meant) is ok, but it's totally valid to expect more of the 3rd game in the series. Especially when you consider how long it's been since BL2. This doesn't seem like it's advanced the genre at all nor does it seem like it's paid any attention to recent games in the genre.
