TVii is still basically useless for me. The UI still struggles from wait times. But, it is far from the mess it was when I got one last November. I strongly recommend picking one up. There are a lot of deals around on them, right now. Gamestop is selling new 8Gb systems with Skylanders and a $25 gift card for $275.
I have an 8Gb system and it works perfectly. I just threw a 500Gb external drive on it that I had laying around.
I was fairly disappointed, but not shocked by, games on new consoles being hamstrung by also needing a current gen port. Until publishers and developers are ready to walk away from the last generation of consoles, we won't really know what these consoles can do beyond pretty pictures.
I bought the PS4 and the Xbox One and I use my Xbox One a lot more because of Dead Rising, Forza 5, and Killer Instinct. I use my PS4 every other day for an hour or so at a time to play Battlefield 4 and Resogun.
Since you already own a PS4, I don't think it is probably too smart to buy another console. There just isn't enough stuff out there to really justify one of these things, let alone two.
@raven_sword: You will love the Vita, provided you aren't under the impression that it will be something that you play all the time. The release schedule for the system is a little thin. But, it has quite a few good-to-great titles on it and more are always coming. It just isn't the kind of platform that has a AAA exclusive title every month or anything. Also, one thing I will say is that if Remote Play is something you are really excited about, you might want to try it out, first. The lack of buttons and the overall framerate on the system have been a drag for me. I was excited at the possibility of playing Resogun on it through Remote Play and that game is 60fps and the Vita only seems to be able to stream around 30fps and with a game like that, it can be tough to adjust.
But, I love my Vita and use it pretty regularly. I hope this helps!
