High Hell Review 0

I could tell you that this game is incredibly unique, but as a whole it isn't. The little odds and ends of the game are unique but this is by no means the first high speed, high impact shooter. What really makes this game excellent is all of those components put together. It's probably worth mentioning that the only way to enter a room in this game is to kick the door downWhen I booted up the game for the first time, I was shocked at the insane aim sensitivity. It's almost as if you could gently ...

Battlefront II Review 0

At first glance it seemed the developers of Battlefront 2 listened to the feedback on the previous title. Unfortunately, upon closer inspection, this is obviously not quite the case. After a couple hours of gameplay it becomes clear that EA, and it's associated developers, merely heard the playerbase rather than truly listened. Also the face I made when I realized where the story was going. The first, and arguably most glaring, change to the series was the addition of a single player campaign whic...

Bomber Crew Review 0

At first glance Bomber Crew is an easy going point and click game that just happens to be about WW2 Lancaster bomber crews. Upon closer evaluation it becomes apparent just how unforgiving this game can be.See? However, it doesn't take long for the games relentless AI fighters and ace pilots to tear hol...

A Refreshing Change of Pace From CA 0

It's been a while since a Total War game has met the standard of gameplay set by the earlier games. The last game to pass muster was, in my opinion, Shogun 2, and before that, Rome: Total War; Over the years the games have been watered down by limited control over your cities, towns, and settlements. Total War: Warhammer is different. CA very clearly learned from their mistakes. Then they went beyond that by taking a leap of faith with the Warhammer name and trying something almost completely di...

No Man's Sky: Another early access survival game 0

After two years of hype and some vague information, No Man's Sky falls far flat of its goals and expectations. With a game like this it is important to remember that Hello Games an independent developer. However, with the amount of attention the game pulled and the promises it made to the gaming community, No Man's Sky should still be held to the same standard as any other video game. That being said, this game has an abundance of flaws, some technical, others graphical. Render distances are simp...
