I'm totally down to try it out. I'm renting it from Gamefly so even if it is too short that's not going to bother me. Hopefully the second screen stuff doesn't screw it up too badly.
I slept fully clothed until I was like 20 years old. Like in jeans and shit. On a whim I bought some pajama shorts and now I wear those with one of my baggier t-shirts. It's nice.
I've only watched the Rift stream, but the stream made me feel like VR wasn't as inevitable as I've been led to believe. Obviously it won't go away anytime soon but I'm not at all convinced this is the paradigm shift some people have claimed it will be.
I played Dark Souls then Bloodborne, and I like Dark Souls a little more than Bloodborne, because I think the level design is better and the greater variety of builds made me more invested in the progression of my character. So yes my first is my favorite, but its not my favorite because its my first.
I don't really like the theory that someone's first exposure to a particular series is usually their favorite, because it feels like the person presenting the theory is implying that people can't think intelligently or critically about the things they like.
This is pretty much how I interpreted it when the news first came out. I really don't know how they're going to pull it off. Final Fantasy 7 is like a 40 hour game, with maybe 20 hours of side quests. So if they want each release to be roughly the size of the 13 sequels there's going to have to be a lot of original content. Personally I would rather they release 3 shorter games, but I seriously doubt that will be the case. I really hope they don't throw in a bunch of padding, and I have very little faith in their ability to create original content. It still remains to be seen how things like character progression, and the world map even translate across 3 releases.
The jump was pretty significant but as someone who's owned a 3ds since a year after it came out, it's starting to feel pretty underpowered, and I'm looking forward to seeing its replacement soon (supposedly).
I'm definitely going to buy Bravely Second in a couple weeks. That first game was so promising, and I'm really excited to see what they do with the sequel. Unfortunately I haven't heard much about it, which makes me think its not that interesting, but we will see.
I'm sure I will play through Final Fantasy XV pretty quickly after it comes out. More out of curiosity than excitement though. Its weird that they can put out a game that seems to be nothing like the old games I love, but has the same title, so somehow I feel obligated to pay attention to it. Branding 101 I suppose? Also I'm really anticipating I am Setsuna because I have a feeling its actual similarities to some of those old games will reignite whatever dead part of me the first Bravely Default sparked.
Loving Persona 5 is a safe bet, I'm starting to worry it won't come out over here this year, I'm a little information starved on that game.
