Catacombs, but that was mostly my own doing because I somehow managed to not find either bonfire until right before I beat Wolnir. Doing that run over and over again was not an enjoyable experience.

I'm about six hours into DS3 and so far I am much happier with it than I was with 2. It feels better to play and I am doing a lot more exploring of optional paths. The lore is also easier to understand and I'm liking the connections to DS1.

DS2 will always be the black sheep of the franchise and is also the most forgatable entry.

I wish there was a Warhammer toys to life game. It seems like the kind of thing that could actually translate well and have its own identity.

@defaultprophet: I think what happens is that the video finds it way online and then news outlets report on it. What they don't do is host the video on there actual site.

As long as you are always learning from your loses then you aren't losing completely. Losing is part of the process. I've never been a big Street Fighter guy but I've really gotten into SFV. A couple weeks ago I was only winning 1 out of 10 matches. Now I say I win 1 out of 4. I'm getting better and I know that I am because I am learning from my mistakes and I'm not falling for some stuff I use to. I also know more instinctively what to do when certain situations arise and respond correctly.

Practice helps a lot too. Practice and viewing every match as part of an iterative process. Now cut out the rage quitting. You are acting like a child.

The "survival" part of survival horror really isn't important to Silent Hill 2. Even on hard the game gives you plenty of supplies to handle any situation you find yourself in. You aren't going to be doing your self a disservice by bumping down the difficulty. Enjoy the story, setting, and atmosphere. Those are the reasons people love the game.

No joke, if I ever met a man dressed and built like Warren and wearing that exact expression upon his face I would legit be terrified. There is a tinge of violent terror in those eyes. Mixed with mad desperation and clear homicidal intent. When I look at Warren I do not see a man, but a force of nature.

All this tomfuckery has me even less excited for it than I already was. I use to be so high on this series, but then Absolution happened and now I no longer consider myself a fan. I'm still bummed out by how disappointing and awful Absolution turned out to be. I have no faith that this will be any better based on all the shenanigans that are going down with its release. If I am wrong and turns out to be more like an actual sequel to Blood Money then I will happily eat crow.

I love all the games in the series but I was starting to worry that they were going to milk this thing until it slowly died off like Rock Band. I'd like to get a new Souls game every three years or so, no need to pump them out like they have been doing. This would free them up to give us something new or maybe another Armored Core. An AC game with maybe a higher budget that they can now afford thanks to the success of the Souls franchise.

Or maybe give me Armored Souls. I'd be OK with that too.

The Joy of Painting is timeless. It is classic television and one of the greatest shows of all time. Which is a piece of praise I believe it deserves but rarely gets.

I'm going to have this going while I run around hunting treasure in Assassin's Creed.
