I think this could work. It gets rid of the need for a bunch of dedicated buttons (the way smartphones have replaced tactile cell phones due to the infinite usefulness and ability for the screen to become anything), and the moving parts of standard controllers, the sticks. I already use Xpadder to get rid of having to play with an awful KB+M setup on 90% of games anyway (mouse only games, I just use mouse), but if this can deliver mouse-like fidelity with slight thumb movement one would use instinctively on an analog stick, there could be something to this. I'd like to try one.
Only bad thing looks like it has the handgrips backwards? Or has bumps where your thumb wraps over the top to the button part where other controllers are more flat. It seems holding it would be uncomfortable, but I won't decide until I actually do.
