This may have been brought up, but I really like how videos on the old site would have a direct link to the wiki on the right sidebar. So I could be in the RDR2 quick look, click the link, and very quickly find all other content featuring that game. I think this would be a great feature to carry into the new design.
Other than that I love it, thanks to the team for all the hard work!
This seems like a good thing though. That stuff is already in the game and people have a ton of complaints, this seems like an attempt to hire a person to bring in a solid vision and rework it. I mean who gets mad at goals like "Work with the live team to make a better product", "Maximize player satisfaction", "Create sustainable player progression", and "Define a cohesive monetization experience"? All of these bullet points are things they NEED to be looking at if y'all want this system to get any better.
They're obviously not ditching the Eververse, so what do you people realistically want here? What is the benefit of not hiring a progression designer when that stuff is 100% going to remain in the game?
@kcin: @oursin_360: Actually 1.7.4 got rid of almost every gameplay issue there was. The camera rune is still buggy I believe and there's the occasional hard crash, but it's playable from start to finish. You need a monster CPU to get buttery framerate but I'm pulling 20-30fps on a 3570k. I've played about 5hrs with 3-4 crashes and no other problems
Been using Tone the most for sure, his range is super valuable.
I want to get into Ronin but I'm not sure I'm using him right. I'll warp up on a guy but I feel like my shotgun kills him at the same rate he kills me so we just both die. Is there something obvious I'm missing? Should I not be hugging titans with him?
