My PS3 is currently locked in a struggle for dominance in a world that's torn between work, maintaining a social life, and a cat who thinks she's a person. Who will live? Who will get game?

  • Once again, I own the PS3 version. For some reason, GB's review contributors like to use the 360 as a default for their gameplay. I'm surprised there are so many 360's left un-RROD'd, but I digress [just a little zinger tossed in Microsoft's direction].

This is actually a very solid mech game, with some nice customization options. Also, unlike AC4, it's actually more difficult. The online multiplayer is only so-so - waiting for players to show up is painstaking. When they do show up, the Japanese players, who've naturally had the game longer , wipe the floor with their American counterparts. I've yet to play a co-op game with anyone on AC4A.

  • Battle ginormous beasties and enemy pirates, as in "asspirates". The multiplayer is definitely an acquired taste but I'm not biting. Capcom is infatuated with making games where the characters move in an almost too-realistic fashion, as in the Monster Hunter series. It adds difficulty and an added level of realism and isn't a totally terrible thing.

  • I'm having a 3-day weekend [starting 12.05.08]. Yesterday was dominated by traversing the Capitol Wasteland, playing Repo Man by delivering a copy of the Declaration of Independence to Abe Washington [w/ cannon fodder Sydney by my side]. Then I killed everyone in Rivet City during Alice and Diego's "wedding", reverted back to my previous saved game to retain my Saint status.

  • Despite the box showing 360 on it, I'm playing the PS3 version.

I'm looking for co-op players who haven't turned on their cheats yet, since I'm on play through number two on Hardcore level. Preferably female players but who am I kidding?
