Epic name bro's current lets play of DS1 is by far the best Ive seen and I have watched far to many. Also yes Kays DS lp is pretty good but be warned she plays thought it at a really slow pace to slow too keep me engaged for very long.

You will not be getting a strength of 56 on new game rather thats the kinda of number you mightttt have in new game plus or even new game ++, however if want to wield the demon greataxe , strength wepons when wielded two handed have a 1.5 × your current strength stat modifier so you need a strength of 31(DGA needs 46) but really you should just experiment with different weapons move sets until you find something you like as you will be much more effective doing that then looking online for min- maxing which is only usefull in PVP which regardless of what weapon you use you'll be outmatched in right now as a new player, most if not all dark souls weapons are viable in PVE and thats one of the things that makes the game great and were alot of the fun of the game is brought out from

Are you seriously saying that the execution of any given story is meaningless .Also yes many plot point were thrown away and the ones that were left were gutted of any depth or nuance it was reduced to shock factor the movie you also have no idea what you're talking about so this whole discussion is moot

@turambar: The boros fight was moslty filler and stretching on behalf of mad house you could have fit the manga version into an episode with out much trouble but they wanted to end on a bang and it was fun and flashy the fight itself that is, the build up again mostly stretching was pretty bad , its true their wasnt any subtext this time around (thats the first time aleast from my point of veiw) but it did set up whats to come in a number of ways and it did so in pretty fine fashion.

@edgaras1103:It's the opposite of how it is in the rest of the world in japan manga is far more popular then anime which was more mainstream in the 90s but since has progressively become more and more a niche for Otakus, far less anime has been popping up in prime time instead late night spots are the norm now .

Also dvd and blu rays sales are getting lower year on year. As for berserk a anime would be a real bad idea considering the content as japan has really strict censorship laws. A ova series would be the best thing for a berserk adaptation ala hellsing ultimate but would be a monetary risk so I would not count on that.

Some good news and some bad , berserk is getting a new adaptation covering content from the black swordsman arc the bad news is it's very likely that it's being worked on by the same studio that did those very subpar movies also the manga is back on hiatus and will not be on a monthly time table when it comes back around
