Well, they backed the wrong horse for one game. Previous to Portal 2 Valve never backed Sony on anything. In fact they openly talked shit about them. But yeah, the Portal 2 deal seems kind of moot at the moment. "I don't think Valve would've gone to all that trouble and expense to integrate Steam for one title. They must've already been kicking themselves when the system was cracked wide open, but now I bet they really regret it.
