Extremely this!! He was definitely playing it up for fun toward the end but woooooof.
This review started off with an interesting framing premise that went absolutely nowhere. Thanks for your thoughts on the game but your first 5 paragraphs don't provide any context for the rest of the review at all, on top of seemingly contradicting yourself multiple times over within those paragraphs.
I guess we all pretty much know what these sorts of farming games are by this point but it was still very confusing to be hearing all this talk about the balance of the game before any discussion of what the game actually is.
Nobody on GB liking XC1 is the least surprising thing ever, more or less just let them like what they like. That being said, Jan apparently enjoying XC2 but then getting on the 'XC1 is bad' train is wild to me; the opening in the first one is so much stronger it's not even close.
Good stuff GB. Also as a person living in a tropical climate, 78 degrees is most certainly not hot air. It's pretty perfect air-con temperature really, and as Vinny rightly points out is a good balance for energy efficiency.
I love this series but the absolute insistence on refusing to read instructions (with two pairs of eyes present!!!) and then calling puzzles bullshit is getting slightly tired.
It's a small matter obviously but otherwise keep up the great work! Thanks for the content!
