This is making me want to replay the older games (Theme Hospital, Evil Genius, Dungeon Keeper) more than actually play this. Maybe eventually when it goes on sale!
On a whim, I ended up watching the one We Be Truckin' episode that I hadn't yet, and it ended up being the one that framed the headline for the article. Cool coincidence! I liked that article a lot, esp. as someone who adored those truck streams and considered them essential to getting through last year. @phished0ne: Yep, I agree with you. Going for No Mercy specifically is a weird one for me. As Jeff says, not exactly what the brand of AEW should be harkening back to either. But let's see how it all shakes out.
The 3 in my username was indeed important, Jeff, thank you for acknowledging it!!
I think I'm in the same boat with you re: the AEW game. More cautiously optimistic, I'd say. I have no idea if you'd even be able to convincingly pull off a No Mercy-style game with the fidelity of today's wrestling games – No Mercy seemed like something that was a time-and-place thing.
But if Yuke's wants to have a stab at it and (seemingly) break free of their miserable simulation shackles, I say why not.
