Well, yours truly got enough of that in Persona 3 Reload this month. During the beach episode, Junpei said that Fukka looked slimer when clothed. I first thought it as a fat joke. But then in November, some rando at the hot spring report said "Yo, that shorty (meaning Fukka) gets a nice figure", and I realized that my player character's girlfriend's tits and maybe ass were what was being discussed all along... Sex sells, no matter what ground moralists would love people to think otherwise.

When Horizon Zero Dawn (Its tutorial bored me to tears aside) came out 7 years ago PS4 was as far into its life cycle as PS5 is now. Gravity Rush 2 as well. Yet 2024 will be quite a desert for the console in terms of things matter to console warriors. What had Jim Ryan done indeed.

@zombiepie: I had only been to Japan once back in 2014. Saw half of street in Osaka selling gaming laptops. PC gaming revival there probably started earlier than gaming tablets. With living space being what it's, I say Sony had done fouled up making PS5 into a behemoth. It's almost like they made their "new" console in the image of original Xbox to the eyes of people from their country of origin.

I guess Persona 4's rather long introduction gave everyone, on both the producing and consuming sides, the wrong idea about Persona.

As for the "long-winded story sequences that were usually predictable" in Persona 5, here is one I laughed my ass off on in the Tactica spin-off:

By the second Kingdom, the Phantom Thieves and that Cillian Murphy looking new guy would be helped by a nice pretty young woman along with other short little guys. Everyone think the woman is rather motherly and the new guy starts think about his mother who past when he was very young. Many people can see where that is going, so I chose "Hold on" when the rest of gang started to ship those 2 thinking "Oh, come on, guys. Don't make a literal motherfucker out of our guest" but was accused of thinking with my own virtual dick. Then of course the boss fight bookend this Kingdom, it was revealed that the young woman is a manifestation of how the new guy remembers his mother. The only sliver lining is that Joker gets to choose the "Yeah, saw that coming from a mile away" line...

While there is an order of releasing things, the Stay Night news simply made me go "Wake me when you lot are ready to release Hollow Ataraxia".
