@nirokogaseru: The first had a lot of RPG elements. The second took some away but not enough that you missed them. I'm sure the third is going to have the best of both worlds so to speak.
I agree with some of that. It makes since from the setup of the second game. The last part I don't agree with. I would lean more towards it taking place in Dark Space, where the Reapers escaped to over and over again. I know it is a stretch but in the second game they destroy the Human-Reaper. What if there is already a Human-Reaper that has been around since before the first game.
@ghad13: That's Not a bad idea at all, about the simulations. Incorporate the Co-op in the form of Simulations kind of like Pinnacle Station from the first game. Then again I don't see the reason as to why Mass Effect 3 even needs co-op
I'm more curious over the fact they actually said they're going to be adding additional RPG elements into the third game. Seeing how they made some cuts from the first to second, it comes as a surprise that they're going to bulk up the RPG aspect.
They'll be releasing at least one or two more. They have gone on to record and said, Lair is the FIRST DLC to begin the expansion of Mass Effect 2 to 3.
Mass Effect 3 is "predicted" to be released the first quarter of 2012, seeing how they said it is along the same time frame of the sequels release.
I wouldn't be surprised if by the time the ending of the trilogy comes out if they haven't released up to 3 other DLC packs that build on Mass Effect 2.
" My hometown is Ashtabula, OH. It used to be the meth capital of the world. There was also a book that was set there, and Urban Meyer was born there. "
Come on now. Ashtabula wasn't the Meth Capital, Geneva was. Ashtabula was just crippled and choked to death because it's like the lazy Siamese Twin of Geneva. Geneva provided the drugs, and Ashtabula overdosed on them.
Don't forget that many decades ago Lou's Billow Beach was actually a renowned restaurant. Back when it played live music and actually had a world class wine bar. But those times have come and gone, and now it's just a smoldering million dollar scrap heap.
@InfamousBIG: Probably would be safer to just go with the console version. Hate to get the PC version and it has all kinds of issues or just turns out to be much worse then the console adaptations.
" @InfamousBIG: I don't think he means replace RE as their survival horror franchise, rather just their main zombie game franchise. To take over RE's place with their place in CAPCOM's sales.
Lmao. Oh jesus. well, supposed it's for the best. There was an article I read on gamespot about them wanting their RE6 out ASAP, too. Maybe that'll be the last, or maybe that article was before this one. Resident Evil as a franchise has got a very short lifespan left, that much is certain. "
Well, all I know is that I'm certainly buying Dead Rising 2. Never bought the first one, as I'm limited to only having a PC and PS3. Undecided as to pre-order, though. "
Not sure if you've gotten around to Case Zero yet but it shows that Dead Rising 2 has a lot more potential then its predecessor.
I hope it won't be the last, though. If they're going to finish the series off, well damn it all give us what we want! Every single character all in one game! A Resident Evil Kart Racer - I don't care. I just won't Chris and Wesker to team up against Leon and Alfred and shoot shells at them or something X) "
LMAO that would be epic. They have been talking about shelving the series for a number of years and then redeveloping it for another generation. Not sure if that would be a good idea. May just be better to let Resident Evil go, it had an amazing run and will go down as one of the most, if not the most, iconic Survival-Horror franchises of all time. The only franchise i think that holds a candle when it comes to span is probably Silent Hill
