I gave up on the Nameless King in Dark Souls 3 since it was an optional boss and at that point I was ready to be done with that game, I just said screw this after trying like 20 times.
Same, dude. Same. I guess I just couldn't get a grip of those fucking delayed attacks.
@ivdamke: Damn. I really fucking hope this game sells well enough to warrant another sequel. I can see them hitting it out of the park if they get another crack at it. So, should I go back and play the first, then? I have never touched an Evil Within game but I was hoping TEW2 would be getting a bit better reception across the board than it is.
@glots: Yeah, I noticed the aiming in the Quick Look seemed pretty fucking brutal. Ben went into the shooting gallery for a second and his aim was one of the swimmiest I've ever seen in a game (not his lack of skill, but the way the reticle moves.) You mentioned switching to casual, but @halodude442 said on the last page that he finished it on casual and found it easy to the point where it had zero challenge at all.
I really wish I was pulled into Stardew Valley like I expected to be. Picked it up a few months ago for cheap on PS4. I'm not very familiar with these types of games so the open-ended nature and the way the intro just plops you into the world left me a bit confused and directionless. I should try to boot it up again soon. Any quick tips for someone who isn't sure how to approach it?
@lazyimperial: Could not agree more about Fallout 4. Like you, I've never bounced off of a Bethesda Softworks game like I did with F4. Played for maybe three hours and I just couldn't do it anymore - nothing about it was pulling me in.
@hestilllives19: Very well put. I didn't put nearly as many hours into Destiny 2 as you, but I definitely know what you mean by Destiny 1's guns feeling a bit better overall. I feel like Destiny 2 has a solid enough foundation to expand into something pretty wonderful, but I also think they won't take quite as much player feedback into account as they did with the first game. The expansions are probably more solid in terms of preconception than D1's were, in terms of how much player feedback will change the way Bungie decides to tweak the evolution of Destiny 2. Only time will tell, though.
Damn. Now you've got me thinking about Destiny 1's snappiness and the gunplay. Definitely not the first time I've heard this uttered.
I myself have been enjoying it a fair bit. I play multiplayer games pretty casually but have only run into overpowered teams a few times. I've had a few really exciting games of Control, Supremacy, and Clas. I am playing far more PVE than PVP though, even just alone.
Overall, I haven't sunk as many hours into a game as I have into Destiny 2 in a pretty long time, especially considering it's only been out two weeks. I am really enjoying my time with it and even at 2:45am I want to boot it up again before bed.
