Hey y'all, it's been ages since I've actually done a real "blog". I haven't really been one to post my own, rather I enjoy reading other ppl's blogs and watching their videos. However for some reason I felt inspired today to write one...and who knows, maybe I'll end up making a video blog sometime. Anyways, as one may guess from my icon picture, I've been accepted into Naval Officer Candidate School in Newport, Rhode Island. I hope to become a Naval Aviator...it's been my dream to fly the F/A-18 Super Hornet since I was like 4 years old. Officer training officially starts for me on August 22nd, however I swore in 2 weeks ago. While that may seem like a long way off to most people...to me it feels like it's right around the corner.  
 
Gaming wise, I have a back log of about 5 games I really want to play before I leave including Dead Space, Mass Effect 2, FFXIII, Burnout Paradise and InFamous. On top of that, RDR is a game I'm def interested in so I'll want to pick that one up too and start working on that ASAP.  While I've got a few months to go, I'm hoping I'll be able to finish all those titles and maybe even a few more before I ship out.  
 
While I'm stoked about finally being able to pursue my dreams, I know for a fact I'll hardly have any time to play any console games due to the fact I'll be on ship deployments for about 6 months at a time once I'm assigned to a fleet. I'm hoping however to pick up a pretty sweet gaming laptop which I think I'll be able to bring with me and catch up on some PC titles. However as awesome the experiences are likely to be, I'm pretty sad that I won't really have any time for a long time to continue my favorite hobby...that being video games. Because of this, I'm really hoping to make the most out of the time I have prior to OCS to play as many games as possible. Therefore if any of y'all out there wanna play over XBOX LIVE or the PSN, let me know and I'll be more than happy. I know I'm prob a big stranger to most of you out there because I haven't been actively blogging or anything like that...but I'm looking forward to seeing where this goes. Anyway, if you wanna hit me up just PM me your gamertag and we'll get some games going! :)
