The Yaris is alive and well outside of the USA. In fact one of the most exciting cars of 2021 was a Yaris homologation special.

It was a good showing and I'm glad Sony went aggressive on the price. There's still no games that interest me all that much in the launch window of either console, but I'll get a Series X just to get the most out of my Game Pass subscription.

Normally I don't care all that much for the slimmer redesigns of consoles, but with the way the PS5 looks and it's size I might wait for a refreshed SKU before picking one up.

Halo looks interesting and I seem to be one of the few people who like the new more simplistic art style. I'm excited to play Tetris Effect again and Stalker 2 could be very good if they pull it off.

Other than that, too many cinematic trailers without any real info on what you do in those games. No game really game that "wow this is next-gen" vibe and the launch lineup seems thin as far as new games are concerned. But with all that being said, I know I'll get the Series X just to play the best version of Halo and try Ori at 4K 120fps I guess.

Hey @alex the double border checks happen on international borders like the Russia-Estonia one. The first check is the exit check from one country after which you enter a sort of no man's land between the two countries and finally on to the entry check of the next country. Essentially the same thing as when you get your documents checked when departing for an international flight and then once again when landing in the next country.

Inside the EU Schengen Area no such border formalities exist, as the whole of the EU and countries like Norway essentially have open borders between each other.

You probably knew most of this already, but just wanted to clear things up.

Was that song at 2:45 a Button Mashing reference?

Three Finnish games in Jeff Gerstmann's top 10 list with one in the top spot, now there's something worth feeling a bit of national pride for.

Same here!

The plate/bowl discussion disturbed me more than any Dan comment for a good long while. Liquids and certain rice bowl dishes belong in a bowl. The rest go on a plate.
