Hmmm... This guy did sound replacement pack: http://www.minecraftforum.net/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=40543 Looks like all the sounds are in ogg form & need to be organized by type into different directories. Other than that probably nothing to it other then making the clips.
Then again this is all just hearsay on my part. All I'm telling you is what I figured out from that forum! :)
@TwoOneFive: Yeah, that was an entertaining article. The author summed up her (and admittedly, many others) music very well in my opinion: "catchy but depthless"
Bowie's great! Speaking of which, I read this article a while ago. David Bowie & the Occult Whether true or not, I thought it was an interesting read. Then again, I love reading stuff like this. ;)
