I'm with Jeff. I bought my first 2x speed CD-ROM drive for the low price of 350 bucks back in the day. Came home with 7th Guest and Day of The Tentacle, and for all it's flash, 7th Guest boiled down to stock puzzles dressed up with flashy pre-rendered graphics and some of the worst acting ever in any medium. Day of the Tentacle was actually fun and showed off why "multi-media" was worth the upgrade.
