I had a PS4 controller break on me a couple of years back, like one of the analogue sticks were drifting but apart from that, they have been fine. I never really been into the limited-edition controllers, coloured ones or anything like that so there's no reason to change them.

Yeah it was odd at the end of that Hotspot episode.

I mean, I can see why viewership would decline. Personally, I haven’t really enjoyed much of the content they’ve put out these past few months aside from Alex which has been excellent for me. Like I’m not trying to be harsh here and I completely understand that it’s not their fault, but I haven't got money to throw away here you know?

There’s a lot of competition these days and when your strength is having an studio with good production quality and that’s suddenly taken away, you’re now in the same space competing with hundreds of other streamers who have done this shit for years at home. But… I love GB and they’ve kept me entertained throughout the years, so I’ll continue to throw a few bucks their way for the foreseeable future, but others might not see it that way and I completely understand that.

That could be complete anecdotal bullshit on my part and they’re totally fine and that’s great, but I’ll be glad when their back in the studio when it’s safe.

It's under 25% for sure. Before the lockdown I would say it was much more than that and that's just entirely down to the choice of games. I really like Alex's steams and I listen to the Giant Bombcast. That’s been good enough for me.

I'm not really sure what to make of what has been said thus far, if Gordon doesn't dispute the open letter (because this will affect him) then I'm going to assume it's true and if that’s the case, then I see no reason to be less enthusiastic about another Doom title going forward. It’s unfortunate but I'm confident that another talented individual will fill in the gap.

I've only played Warzone out of the recently released games listed here. Very much enjoyed playing that together with friends, especially in quarantine. But overall, most of my gaming time has been going through my backlog.

I wouldn't put a timer on it. You might lose 56lbs by then, you might not but any significant amount is good. You'll feel better and healthier just by making those lifestyle and diet changes. Because to me that's the true measurement on whether your doing well or not.

I did buy a gaming PC last year but had to return it due to all sorts of technical issues and quirks that I couldn't be bothered to deal with. The simplicity of being able to just get on and play is one of the reasons why I'll continue to buy consoles over a PC.

It depends on what's being played. I really enjoyed Brad's solo quick look of Doom Eternal but everything else has been indifferent so far. Obviously, I'm happy that there’s content at all but I look forward to seeing the crew back together in a studio.

Most noticeably there have been shortages of essential goods which honestly is quite frustrating. I've also increased my awareness of personal hygiene but again, people buying up all the sanitizer prevents me from doing that. But generally, watching how people and media have reacted to this virus with all this conspiracy bullshit, racism and panic has been really unnerving to watch. I'm not even sure what to think about it. Our infrastructure seems to be made on thin ice.

Man, there are a lot of these, and I find a lot of them to be pretty good. It’s a hard call between Konosuba and Log Horizon. It's hard to explain in detail why I liked these shows since it's been so long. I’ve actually been wanting to watch them again for a while now, especially Log Horizon since the 3rd season got announced (HYPE).

I could only describe Konosuba as being stupid fun to watch, with wacky characters that had me burst out laughing a lot of the time and Log Horizon as being super in-depth about its world and how the rules of that world affect the characters in them.

One honorable mention is Shield Hero, at least the early part of it felt like it had something to say about how its world wasn’t just a game and what are thought to be harmless heroic quests that you pick up and never hear from again, turn out to be reckless acts that have consequences on the world, and many are often left worse. The Shield Hero becomes sort of the clean-up crew of these other “hero” characters, who pretty much would be main characters of your typical Iskeai (I mean one of them is literally Kirito and voiced by Kirito). It doesn’t go super into detail about it and it isn’t the main plot point, but I like that sort of thing and I wished the anime went deeper into that. I know a lot of Iskeai have tried to deviate itself by the way of parody, but never in this way. At least that I’ve found.
