As someone who has had a launch PS4 and a PS4 Pro running on a standard 1080p screen. Honestly? I haven't seen any discernible difference in most of the games I have played. I don't think it's worth the upgrade or the extra money.

That depends. The examples you listed are neither interesting nor constructive to warrant a response. I care about an opinion that has been well thought and written, has purpose and doesn’t insult whomever might read it. Screeching and memes is usually what I get on the internet so… I guess the answer is mostly no?

I'm an extremely liberal guy, but this kind of thing does not help the left. It's nonsense.

There can be "too much" of anything and for these type of stances it just seems too liberal and naive to me.

Are these "liberal" or "leftist" positions, though?

Personally, I am far too alienated by feminism, social justice, leftism, and liberalism, to really identify with any of them. These are my personal opinions more than anything. Leftists, like the people at ResetERA, treat me like total garbage for being an anime otaku. So I don't know that I really identify with those movements. If anything, they've made it abundantly clear that I love moe way too much to be a feminist or a liberal.

I don't really understand why feminists and/or liberals would be against someone purely based on that they like anime. It's abundantly clear that a lot of people who associate themselves with those labels like anime too but you know, don't get too worked up about labels. You are you. Label yourself however you want, or not.

I stopped going to Gamespot when they fired Gerstmann. The only time I went back to their site was to see Danny's videos because I heard they were good (which they absolutely are). I haven't really had much a opinion on them since.

I always thought of it that the muscular/skeletal differences between men and women as being different enough to require it. I can't imagine wearing anything that is designed for a female, not because it looks feminine but because it just won't fit me comfortably as compared to wearing something designed for men. But, I'm not exactly an average sized person so what do I know.

The least toxic comments section I've seen. You get the occasional asshole but dude, it's nothing. I do agree with someone’s suggestion to disable comment sections if people want to go that way. I personally enjoy reading comments here and getting involved.

I'm not sure about these 3rd party integrations your talking about but to get rid of that manage setting box on the bottom left, an adblocker will do the trick. I use uBlock and all I have to do is right click the box and go to block element. Adjust it accordingly and that's it. I assume the same works with every other adblocker out there.

EnomotoShards marked this as the best answer

I don’t think it’s gotten worse, just a lot more visible now that we’re constantly connected online. I would argue that society is improving. Don’t get me wrong, we have and always will always have those holding society back and there will always be infractions and hostility between groups, factions and countries but there’s a whole bunch kind, compassionate people out there, doing good work, good things to improve our society one aspect at a time. There’s no need to be so pessimistic.

I doubt we ever see world peace. Some battles we fight today might be a thing of a past in 10-20 years’ time but there always be another thing to fight. It never stops.

I can't see a reason not to have one honestly. I wouldn't use it personally but not going to berate anybody who does.

If Nintendo doesn't want to show anything beyond this year, I can respect that. It’s nice having a 30 second teaser for a game coming out in a year or two from now but it doesn’t really do much other than take some of the momentum out of your upcoming games.

Like they don't value E3 as much as they used to, they have streams all throughout the year. So not disappointing really.
