Yeah I can confirm the Costco I work at has about 48 of packaged with the extra controller and the year of PS+

@mb: can't confirm the price but yes Costco is getting some in. Remember though you need to be a member to buy anything there.

Well it varies from store to store but I can tell you the target I used to work at has 33 of em in the back room. Granted all 33 are spoken for due to pre orders. They also over sold on pre orders so this will be a fun mess for them. And around the time of the PS3 they got in a whole 8 units. So like I said it varies on a lot of different things. The only thing you can do is go wait in line and hope who ever the manager is, is nice and informs the line the number of systems they have.

Yeah I spent he majority of my time being summoned into others games. The time limit doesn't seem like that big a deal providing it doesn't change by the final release

@razielcuts: I made the topic to speculate and have some fun in the process. You more then welcome to make a Xbox one thread if you wish. I just made a PS4 one because A. It comes out next week. B. I'm getting a PS4. And C. Like stated above every launch has its problems I just thought it be fun to speculate what could go wrong. Maybe nothing will for both consoles and it will be wonderful and of course I hope that's the case. But history suggests other. So yeah. Don't read too much into any sort of hidden agenda I may or may not have with creation of this thread. And if you think its stupid that's your opinion and your free not to participate.

Quick little disclaimer here I'm making this topic half serious and jokingly. Every console launch seems to have its problems and i figured it be fun to come up with a few scenarios we might run into or a couple bombastic crazy ones that only the internet could dream up. So here are a few of mine

Amazon pre order snafu- amazon miss counts how many launch systems they have and huge number of people who thought they had launch day editions don't.

Every single PS4 is bricked from the outset and sony goes bankrupt in the process of trying handle all of the returns.

Llama man turns out to be a sleeper agent for Microsoft and distracts every one with "llama love" and no one buys a PS4

I'm thinking BF4. Even though I bought it on the PC that's really the only game I can think of I want to play...again.
