I'm always kicking myself cos I had a copy of Christmas Nights and I threw it away after I got rid of my Saturn at the time.

It fascinated me that the entire game would look different depending what date was set on the console.

I rented a room out of my house to make the pain a little easier.. My mortgage is basically paid for by the tenant. :D

Plus I'll usually wait a while for prices to drop unless I'm super excited about a release.

This is a really good game.

The size and the detail of the city is fantastic.

I've had a camera glitch a couple of times though where the camera would flip out when I start a fight after i've 'dropped in'.. The camera will be like a mile away, and after a few seconds it'll zip back to where I am.

I've had to pay them sometimes.. But this happens with pretty much everything I order from the States.

This game looks solid based off the DF analysis. The only thing that bummed me out is that there's no free roam where theres a dynamic day-night cycle. But I can see why there isn't - it looks like all the art and resources are very tightly designed.. It would take a lot of work and processing power to put that in place...

Excessive handholding in games annoys me. Anything that takes control away from me that doesn't seem to add any value.

Examples might be a cut scene that's showing you a door opening up once you've unlocked it -- its not necessary most of the time. I'd rather just stay in control and find my own way.

But if we're talking full irrational... I get annoyed when PC games default to Low/Medium quality, which a large chunk of them do. It's a waste of time turning all those settings up and changing the resolution, sometimes the game needs to restart as well.

While it's convenient, I don't think it's necessary. It might also increase the prices of the machines.

Currently playing Mass Effect 2 with a load of texture mods installed.. I usually get exhausted when I try to play older games and install all the 'recommended' mods to bring them up to date (e.g. Oblivion, or Fallout 3).. But the tool available for this game (ALOT) is fantastic. it's made really well and was a cinch.

I'm only really hyped for Spiderman... I'm gonna be so bummed if it doesn't play well though.
