I don't know what weird turn this thread took earlier but there are reports in the news about some mail being intercepted with ricin poison that was addressed to somebody in the White house.

White House mail handlers identified a "suspicious substance" Tuesday in a letter addressed to President Barack Obama that preliminarily tested positive for ricin, the FBI said. The same day, a similar letter addressed to Sen. Roger Wicker, R-Mississippi, tested positive for ricin -- a toxin with no known antidote, officials said.

Guys I don't know how credible this is but CBS just said on their live feed that a Saudi National has been seen running from the scene and acting suspicious, also there's rumor that the police have detained someone and are questioning them. Hopefully the man's race isn't the reason he was "suspicious" but people tend to jump to conclusions in events like this. Stay skeptical.

Edit: also the BPD has said the fire at JFK Library may not have been connected to the bombings.

I was hearing (from CBS) that they are detaining that same Saudi National. Hopefully they caught the guy and he isn't just some innocent dude caught up in the mix.

i realize this opens me to ridicule, but for those who are having trouble dealing with the negativity, mr. rogers (of all people) is quoted as,

So we know now that it wasn't an accident right?

They probably aren't blowing things up for fun.

Somebody said it could have been an accidental incident like a generator exploding or a gas stove getting too hot, but I guess those are out of the picture since there's been more than 1 explosion.
