I'm disappointed the term "roguelike-like" didn't catch on for the games that aren't turn-based dungeon crawlers but still have very roguelike feels (e.g. Spelunky and FTL); it's descriptive and ridiculous! The term has expanded in use since the Berlin interpretation was written

Watching this two days after another member of RHCP died was weird. Too soon? At least 11 years too soon Vinny!

English spelling is messed up because of the Great Vowel Shift (wiki) and our enthusiasm for borrowing foreign words without anglicising the spelling. Most of the current spellings do accurately reflect a words pronunciation, silent letters and all, but in another time or place.

Rewatching this and I love how many things they say as jokes are basically accurate
