Seems more likely it was more of a nod to Playstation's history than some hidden announcement for a new Crash game. As depressing as it is, Crash doesn't exactly resonate with many gamers these days.

The reaction to this rumor would suggest otherwise...

I mean, it would definitely fit with Sony's apparently commitment to their PS1 past...

I'd love to see Namco show it's Playstation staples off. A new Tekken and a new Ridge Racer would be great.

I think this is the first Sony launch where Namco hasn't been a big factor.

I would LOVE a new Crash.

I had a thing against Crash Bandicoot when it was new, because I was a Nintendo kid, despite owning a playstaiton in lieu of a N64. Mario 64 was such a juggernaut, it annoyed me when people gave credit to Crash.

Then I played it and it was an EXCEPTIONAL game. Especially Crash 2. It had a really solid grasp on gameplay fundamentals. It's still just as fun to go back and play today. in fact... I just might...

People who buy up consoles to try and rip people off later are scumbags and that's all there is to it. I had both consoles pre-ordered, and once I figured out which one I wanted, I released the one I didn't. I'm not going to try to profiteer off of it. The pre-order I took up was one someone wanted and now someone who wasn't going to get a luanch-day unit, will get one.

Rationalizing it with capitalism is just disgusting.

Scumbags always have a reason to justify why they're really the hero of their own story and everyone else just isn't as smart as them. Whether it's the idiot doing 100 miles an hour on the freeway and weaving through traffic, or the idiot pushing his way to the front at a concert, or the jerk who cuts in line at Disney World.

No corporation is your friend. They all want the money. You should either refuse to support a product or not, but never look for the buddy corporation that wants to date your sister and treat her right.

Nothing Sony is doing is new or weird on your list. HDDs always have less available than on the package. Every online service from Facebook to Xbox Live has similar crap in its ToS documentation. Running games off the HDD is a good thing, and they install while you play level one. None of this is a big deal except the privacy concerns, and if you're worried about that you're probably not using any online services, or very few.

The only thing I think the OP has a point about, though, is the completely ridiiculous and unreasonable backlash against Microsoft. He's right that Sony sat back and watched MS get flack for what Sony was also doing/planning to do.

But the internet deserves the blame for that, not Sony. The internet and Sony fanboys were hte idiots cheering while Sony told them they were going to have to pay for online.

I like the idea that people suggest that MS is paying sites to write bad reviews on PS games. What exactly is that transaction supposed to look like? I mean, literally, someone walk me through it because I'm really curious.

I didn't like the voice acting in the DLC. There is a weird thing they're doing that, I think maybe, is supposed to resemble 40's era noir film dialog. The characters timing is extremely clipped and someones one character seems to start talking before the other one is finished. The problem is, niether Booker nor Elizabeth deliver their lines with that classic, clipped New York accent, so, if that's what they were going for, the effect is lost.

If it's NOT what they were going for, then... well... why do they keep over-talking each other for no real reason?

This is the game I most want of all games out or about to BE out right now.

But I don't own a 3DS and, thusly, am not going to spend like 200 dollars on zelda.

Nintendo needs to stop trying to support two consoles. Everytime they release one great game for one console and one great game for another console, I want to smack them. Support one darn console and you will have enough great content to make everyone happy.

I would just suggest not getting frustrated. Nobody is looking and nobody is judging you. personally the thing I like most about videogames is the challenge of overcoming a challenge.

Also, remember, the way your brain works is that you are presented with a challenge and your brain tries to overcome it. When you walk away for a time, your brain literally rewires itself to overcome that challenge. That's why you can beat your head against something failing time and time again, walk away for a day, and come back to find it's not a challenge at all.

Some things really do just take time.
