I'm gonna punch you in the face ( created 2009?)

My personal choice in fighting games, no real order.

List items

  • As far as I'm concerned the best fighting game ever.

I spent around 3 years playing this off and on. Probably spent more time on this than any other game.

Apart from..well obviously Ken, I spent a lot of time playing Guy and Sakura.

  • If i hadn't spent so much time on SFa3, this would be my favourite fighter of all time.

The speed, crazy cancels, characters and overall presentation blew me away.

It's a very niche title, and not to everyone's tastes...but I loved it.

  • Cable.

    Cable, Cable, Cable.

What a cheap bastard he is.

Well..you all know this game, and the majority love it. So what can i say?

  • One of the two fighting game of this generation that I have played and enjoyed so far.

I think that has a lot to do with the fact that I've got a classic controller plus.

Smooth to play and gorgeous to look at, Tats vs Capcom is definitely worth buying if you have a wii...just get a decent pad for it

  • I have the anniversary edition on my original xbox.

Am I the only one who actually likes Shane? Basketball to the head!

Good solid SF, though lacking compared to SFA3 IMO.

  • ITS ANOTHER VS GAME i hear you cry.

Yep thats how i roll. I'm sure most of you 'purists' are rolling your collective eyes.

This game introduced me to two of my favourite fighters.

Terry 'ARE YOU OKAY???' Bogard and Rock 'meh' Howard/Hudson...i forget which.

    Terry is just...soo damn cool.

Which leads me to the next game

  • Damn this is a nice fighter.

    Smooth, responsive and completely vicious.

I believe this game introduced Geese's erstwhile son Rock.

  • The only over fighting game of this generation that sparked with me on the main consoles.

Its odd, because I loathe 3d fighting games. LOATHE them. In fact part of my dislike of SFIV is that it looks 2.5d. I don't like the way the characters look. Pathetic I know, but I don't seem to be able to look past it.

Any who, DOA4 was one of the first games I had on my now defunct 360. Spent some good times handing a friend his face on a platter...or just seeing how far each of us could get on the fights. That last boss was cheap as hell though.

  • THE best fighter on the psp. By far.

The control and combo system are sublime for a game that transitioned from the Arcades.

I'm totally biased towards gundam games, but this one is certainly worth the time if you can happen to get hold of it.

  • Meh.

Its okay, there are some nice ideas in here...and the RPG elements they added give it more depth, but its still very meh.

  • I'm hoping this game, which is just Guilty Gear really, will reignite my love of fighting games and allow me to actually play effectively. I just don't seem to be able to play SFIV. Maybe its me, maybe its the pad and maybe the game is too slow.

BB should help me work out which it is.
